At last! New photos of Jonathan Futing!

Today was a big day for us. If you read the last post you know that we were able to send a "care package" to Jonathan. He received a belated birthday cake from us, and some other goodies. In addition to this being our first opportunity to express our love to Jonathan, we had the hope that we might get some updated information about him.

Much to our delight, we did. We received a few new pictures, and updated measurements. Since we are now past the LOA hurdle, we are able to share these pictures freely, so here they are!

We also had a short list of questions we hoped to get answers to. No luck with these yet, but we're hoping for a follow up message from Ann at Red Thread China. (Read our last post for more about Ann.)

I think the thing that I want to know most is what name Jonathan is going by. We know his legal name, but it is very common for Chinese children to go by nicknames that have little or no relationship to their legal name.

So, if you you're saying any prayers about this, we'd love to get those questions answered!
